ABOUT IRVCA: Idaho's RV Tourism Industry Voice

The Idaho RV Campgrounds Association (IRVCA) is a statewide non-profit trade association representing Idaho's RV Park/campground owners. Founded in 1981, IRVCA's role is to develop and implement a sustainable RV tourism marketing program that (1) promotes Idaho as a great RV destination, (2) markets Idaho's RV Parks and campgrounds directly to 30 million RVers, and (3) results in bringing thousands of new RVers – and RV tourism dollars – to Idaho each year.

RV IDAHO: Every year, IRVCA updates, publishes and distributes over 115,000 copies of RV IDAHO, the Official statewide campground directory with detailed information listings for all Idaho RV parks and campgrounds, a state map and list of public dump stations. RV IDAHO is used by more Idaho campers and those coming to Idaho than any other publication, and is available 24/7 online.

NATIONAL MARKETING, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION: In addition to Idaho Tourism Division's $1.3 million annual marketing campaign which promotes Idaho as a great travel destination, IRVCA spends thousands more dollars promoting Idaho's RV Parks/campgrounds in the most widely-read RV travel publications. These tourism marketing programs generate well over 20,000 individual requests for Idaho camping information every year, and IRVCA direct mails a copy of RV IDAHO to all inquiries received at 1-800-RV IDAHO, 1-800-VISIT-ID, www.rvidaho.org, and www.visitidaho.org

FULFILLMENT/DISTRIBUTION: Every year, IRVCA ships more than 80,000 copies of RV IDAHO for distribution free-of-charge to RVers at hundreds of locations throughout Idaho and the surrounding states, including Visitor/tourist Centers, Chambers of Commerce, RV Parks and campgrounds, RV dealerships, recreation and sports shows, gas stations, attractions and events. In addition, IRVCA fulfills more than 20,000 individual requests for RV IDAHO by direct mail to campers prior to their RV trip to Idaho.

WEBSITE – www.rvidaho.org: IRVCA developed and maintains Idaho's most widely-used RV/camping website, www.rvidaho.org, which logs thousands of unique visitors every month. All Idaho RV parks/campgrounds have a free detailed listing and website link, providing continuous online exposure directly to campers who research RV travel options online.
