The North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River area offers numerous trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. A brochure from the Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District details which activities are appropriate for each trail. Highlights include trails to Centennial Falls, Shadow Falls and Settler's Grove of Ancient Cedars. Also in this area is the Coeur d'Alene National Recreational Trail.
